    Client/Caregiver Notifications

    Automated voice calls, text messages and email notifications for client(s) and Caregiver(s).

    Learn what checking these boxes off does and where to go to check or uncheck each option.


     

    Where can these options be changed?

    Front Desk Schedule

    When checking clients in from the Front Desk Schedule, you can update these options from the Demographics tab.

    Demographics Screen

    From the Demographics screen, the boxes under the Phone section indicate the client's notifications and then checking or unchecking the boxes in the Caregiver/Guardian section will indicate notifications for corresponding Caregivers/Guardians.

    Inquiry Screen

    You can check or uncheck these options for Caregivers from the Caregiver Information section on the Inquiry screen.


     

    What do these options indicate?

    When box is checked:

    • Client will receive automated voice calls to remind them of upcoming scheduled appointments.  

    One call the day before the appointment and another the day of the appointment.

    • Client will receive an automated text message to remind them of an upcoming scheduled appointment, the day before the appointment. 
    • Whether or not this box is checked off will also be indicated in the Client Communications screen so you can determine whether or not to send text messages from that area.
    • Client will receive email notification when something on their client Portal account needs attention.

    They will receive period reminders until task is complete (payment due, document needing, review/signature, etc.)

    Client can also toggle this on or off from within their own account

    SMS Text Notifications/Client Communications

    Checking this box for the client and/or guardian will also dictate how it shows up in the Client Communications screen.
    • In the following example, the client, Lynn-aye, has three (3) phone numbers listed in the Demographics' phone section AND the SMS Text Notifications box has been checked off.
    • Her Stepparent, Crystal, does not have the SMS Text Notifications box checked off, so her phone number is not listed and (Opted out of texts) is indicated.
    • Her Mother, Heather, has the SMS Text Notifications box has been checked off and therefore her phone number is listed under her name.
